  • Well, that was a mechanical, strangely articulated performance if I ever heard one. Strong individual players, however, but not in the top five of performances I've heard for this piece. The "common man" isn't that choppy. Sorry, especially because this is really a nice orchestra...just not this time.

  • I don't think this is a good performance.

    The conductor and the orchestra were too confined to the beats, so the music lost its grandioso feeling. The music didn't move.
