@SusieCruisie I always noticed that about Steve and Kayla's fantasies. I loved how at first Steve really hated the way he looked and felt self conscious about it because he thought he had to be perfect to be wtih Kayla but later he said that after they got together instead of seeing a bum in the mirror he would see the man that Kayla loved. She definitely helped him with his self esteem.

Yeah, you could always tell when it was Steve's fantasy because he had two eyes and no scar, usually he was dressed better also. When Kayla had one, Steve just looked like Steve.

You welcome. I watched the S&K storyline back in the 80's, I ditched alot of school back then. S&K was my favorite soap super couple. Kayla a family oriented, careing, loving & hard working woman & Steve also known as "Patch" the low life, immature, pool hustling, orphan, harminica playing guy he was. Take about opposites attract. It was Bo who poked Steve's eye out, all over a girl named Britta (Bo's girlfriend). Bo found Steve & Britta in bed together. Need more help-just send a message.

Steven, Bo, & someone named Britta have matching tatoos. Britta was murdered & Roman wants to go to Stockholm to find Marlena (she was kidnapped). Hope & Steve go w/Roman but Steve gets shot, Roman's in jail & Hope calls Kayla asking for help. Kayla goes to stockholm to tend to Steve's wound. Meanwhile, Bo is w/Victor in stockholm & is at odds w/Roman.
You have started in the right place to look at the history of S&K. Keep looking at old episodes, it gets better.

Er90, oh yeah, it was Bo who poked Steve's eye out when they were in the merchant marines together when they were 18 yrs old.

This is the storyline that S&K begin to fall for each other but their actions on their love don't act right away. Steve is affraid of committment & it takes a couple of yrs before they tie the knot. However, during the S&K storyline, it's Kayla who's the persistant one, never giving up on Steven-she even wants to sleep w/him w/no commitments (See "Steve gets a pool cue" on You Tube). Steve was hired by Victor to stalk Kayla when she was in Ohio, the rest is history.
