@dixiebelle93 ick is mainly caused by major temperature changes I don't see how adding new plants into the tank will cause it because it is just plastic you know...

@Natetrix1995 Lights . . . Lots of Lights :)

yur fish had ick, its a fungus that grows on them and eventuaaly they die. my betta just recently had it and he died on me. yu can get a tablet that dissolves in the water and is supposedly goin to help. and fake plants are exactly what caused it. next time make sure yu wash the plant very throughly, i kno i sure will:)

Yeah, that's not a nursery setup, that's a clear box with babies in it floating at the top of the tank.

I'M SO FRUSTRATED =( MY MOLLY HAD BABIES 5 DAYS AGO SO I GOT SOME FLOATING PLANTS FOR THEM TO HIDE, I DON'T KNOW IF THE PLANTS WERE INFECTED WITH PARASITES OR WHAT, BUT ALL MY FISH GOT WHITE SPOTS NOW, EVEN THE BABIES AND IS HEARTH BROKEN BECAUSE I SEE THEM HITTING THEIR BODY AGAINST THE PLANTS AND I KNOW THEY ARE INFECTED TOO...DO YOU THINK THEY'LL SURVIVE THE TREATMENT? I HAVE TO WAIT UNTILL TOMORROW TO BUY THE MED CAUSE I JUST NOTICED IT AND ITS LATE... I DON'T WANT TO GIVE UP ON THEM =(

@fishygal88 that was a long time ago...i have a whole tank set up now...

@myplus18yearsaccount dude get a practical tank seriously!
i have a really small tank...like a bowl. i have no filters or anything. i bought my fish pregnant, and there's another fish with it (just a goldfish so im not really concerned). what do i do? could i just keep them all together, or separate the babies into a different bowl?

@myplus18yearsaccount Molly needs at least 1 Gallon per fish, and needs 72F +, Gold fish is cold water, and carries high volume of germs and virus....... New fry not easy to survive in your tank, mother molly becomes weaker after giving birth to youth......

How did you get the algae to grow?

@Natetrix1995 It grows naturally after the tank runs for a few months.
