Bay Area community members, victims of police violence, and family members of victims of police violence speaking out against the police killing of grandmother Anita Gay, the brutal attack by BPD on Nadra Foster, the numerous recent killings by OPD, and the daily harassment and violence people experience at the hands of police. This rally was outside the Ashby Flea Market, August 23, 2008. It was organized by Justice for Anita Justice for All.

  • The world can see their cowardness.... what an embarrassment to america- men using brute violence against women in public. COWARD, LOSERS ! THIS KIND OF THING HAPPENS TO MINORITIES ALL THE TIME !

  • These things aren't random. When you've got the Berkeley Police Association suing the city to keep misconduct a secret, what can you expect but wrongful detentions, arrests, assaults, and killings?
