Sig mosquito test fire # 2

This is my 2nd time to fire the sig mosquito after being really disappointed on the first day with every other shot being a FTF or FTE. Both times I used Winchester super x shot 50 first day 50 second time about 10 days later. I did some research and found to leave the hammer cocked for about a week will help reduce the number of jams. Figured i would give it a shot and these are the results. Only shot 9 rounds this time since i dropped one while loading. did not jam on the other 49 shots with rapid fire or slow shooting. I uploaded a cleaning video and tips on how to maintain and clean mosquito, watch for tips and advice to help your mosquito. Next time i go shooting i will post results plan on shooting alot more than 50 rounds.

@theboy332356 I have fired CCI out of mine nothing else I have had one FF at the 800 mark. Works great.

Both CCI MiniMag and American Eagle rounds are supposed to work well with this gun. BTW, the recommendation isn't to leave the hammer cocked for a week, but to leave the slide locked back for a week. It's the slide spring that needs to be compressed, although I don't know if it actually works or not.

Hello blacksabbath7942 - What kind of grease did you apply on the Mosquito & on what parts of the Mosquito did you apply the grease. I only have jams at around the 200 round mark and honestly, they are rare anymore. I shoot minimags but I even used the Walmart federal 550 value pack this past weekend and they did pretty good as well. I have close to 3000 through mine now

Yeah CCI Mini-Mags is what Sig recommends to be used, they even supply you with a coupon for them if you buy the gun new. Also supposedly the second spring it comes with is suppose to be used for the low grade cheap ammo.
