  • For the cam, how mild is "mild". I am building a very similar motor with a 214/218 duration cam with a 112 lobe sep. Curious to see what my combo might do.

  • Crane Cams # 119701 specs 222/230 112 lobe sep lift .552"/.575" w/1.6:1 rocker arms.

  • Yep, #1034 AFR Eliminator 195`s w/65cc chambers, tried a 850 carb on dyno was 488hp but low end torque dropped off, so 650 carb was just right for this one.

  • Okay. I'll be using GLMs and stock risers which is why my cam specs are so mild. The motor will burn 93 octane because my cam will give a decent dynamic compression ratio (8.2). I won't get 490 hp...hoping for 415-420.

  • Thats impressive. And just 9.6:1 comp and a 650 carb. Those AFR 195's, are they the new ones that flow 300 cfm?
