Your Ibiza too small to drive in Russia.

he's driiving wrong! oh maaan... it's a diesel! de torque is already over at 3500r/min!! look at the scales, he'd have to shift earlier! i drove a laguna 2,0 dci with 150 hp a few weeks ago and it was much much faster than this!!! ;-)

I have Laguna Initiale dci 150 too, I'm sure I can go faster than that but I'm in manual so maybe it can explain.

@derbigpr500 Correct!
Few people seem to understand that maximum acceleration is achieved, when the average power during acceleration in a certain gear is at maximum. So unless the engine has a flat power area, this always means shifting above maximum power.

@immachaser It's Automatic. Car changes gear by itself lol.

E hidramată, de aia accelerează vai steaua ei.

@KoudZ That's what an torque converter autotragic does to performance.
And efficiency.

Looks like my last rental car lol

I dont understand why you're arguing about shifting times. Its an automatic anyway....and automatic gearbox knows exactly when to shift. Just because max. torque is at 2000 rpm doesnt mean that he should shift there. Max. power is at 4000 rpm, and optimum shifting point in any car is always ABOVE the point of max. power. So 4300 rpm here is perfect, since the car still accelerates faster at 4300 rpm in 4th gear than it would if it shifter into 5th gear and dropped to 3300 rpm.
From this vid, it looks it had 0-100kph in 10 sec. My laguna II 2,2dci 150hp has 0-100 in 8 sec. I guess that laguna III would have it same (2.0dci is basicaly modified 2.2 dci and with same output), if it would be correctly shifted.

@KoudZ I've tried many variants. Best my result is about 9.5 seconds. The name of the engine is M9R, i think it's completely differed from 2.2 dci.
