This is a quick tutorial / demo of the Virtual DJ 6 (VDJ 6) Automix feature. This is similar to a jukebox function and will not DJ or beat mix for you.

Appologies for the quality and low sound, this was done late night so I had to speak soft and keep the music low.

  • when i click enable automix, the song starts playing on the left side, and nothing changes on the right side. Can someone help me?

  • @JMason814 - The Automix will cue up all the songs on the same deck each time till it ends. The other deck will not do anything during the automix.

The reason for this is so you can cut in and start DJ'ing regularly with the other deck and have a seamless transition back to DJ'ing normally.

Just a reminder this is a Jukebox function meaning it will just play song after song similar to an Ipod or Media Player. Best use for this is to play songs when you have to step away from your booth.

  • Thanks for the video! Question, once you have your play list all set up and it's running, is there a key I can hit to get VDJ to initiate the mix into the next song manually instead of where the program decided the mix should be? Thanks!
