problem,
after driving for about 40 minutes, i would stop at a atop light and when i pressed the gas, the thing just died. it idols fine but when i give it gas it just dies.

Check your carb, take it off and clean out the jets with some carb cleaner.

iv used 3 bottles of the gumout spray.
i think that stuff is shit.

Well, sometimes no matter how much you try to clean the carb it still will not work the way it should. The carbs are pretty cheap, like 150.00, it saves you the grief and hassle. She'll run like new.

i just bought this product called BG fuel system cleaner. if that doesn't work then ill consider taking it to a professional.

Yeah but all the time to do that and then get a pro to do it, would just make sense to get a new carb. It would probably cost more to hire someone. And after it is all done, it still might not be right. My pop has been working on cars his whole life and lawnmower engines (which is close to the bug engine) ha! And sometimes it just doesn't pay to mess it. Just my thoughts :o) Good luck!
