Sweet Home 3D also has no screen shot and it has be in Ubuntu for ever. In ALL this time NO ONE has sent in a screen shot ? Plus if Linux wants to go any where than they need more software... Most of the software is also showing it's age... The only software that looks good is Blender 3D they updated the UI , and it looks great .

I use to feel the way you do and get frustrated with Canonical because they have done sloppy work and bad decisions over and over again.... I gave up on Ubuntu a long time ago mate and just accept that nobody is going to make LInux become mainstream unless it is somebody with the Resources of Google... Ubuntu never will... they are trying... but it won't happen.... If a big company does it then cool... but I gave up worrying about it a long time ago.

Mate to be honest... I couldn't give a flying fuck what Canonical/Ubuntu does... I've criticised their work lot's of times on videos... I don't use Ubuntu and I think Mark shuttleworth makes retarded decisions for his Operating System. As for the screenshots in App directory... they work fine for me.. i've randomly opened about 20 apps and they all have screenshots that show up.... I agree Ubuntu do sloppy work with alot of things... But it doesn't effect me

@maw88ify @BelaFleckFan Linux is just the kernel, not the whole distribution and there is no fear of it dying. What specific distros do or don't do is their choice and it's our choice what to use. I support what debian do, does it make them suck because they don't do what ubuntu does or because you don't like something? What makes you qualified to say how linux should look? You can't please everyone and it can be changed by anyone anyway.Linux isn't 4 holding hands and singing kubaiyah

Secondly I don't use Ubuntu, so its ratings have nothing to do with me.

Thirdly your original complaint was about not being able to get windows .exe's from the Ubuntu site.

That was 3 days ago, I linked you to the url where you could find the windows .exe for blender and you are still here trolling!

@Linux4UnMe I told them I hated Unity , and so did many people. Talking does nothing. Linux will stay at 1% as long as you blame the users, and not the OS. Some of use want to get work done , and not fight with our OS ALL DAY. 98% of my time in Linux is spent tweaking , customizing , and fixing bugs . Trust me I want Linux to win the OS was , but it never will if they keep doing sloppy work .
