agreed. homosexuality isn't even wrong, only because it is mentioned in leviticus, yet almost every christian picks and chooses which verses of leviticus(and the bible), to follow, and leave the rest of it out. It's called the "old testament" for a reason. In the new testament, jesus never said anything about homosexuality, and there is even evidence that he might be gay as well(lol).. no really.. but anyways, yeah, i agree that religion is just a way to control ppl and keep them close minded.

@h3artands0uLL I think that Davis Mallory's defensiveness was also somewhat problematic when he tried to put the example of one lying more times with one having homosexual sex only a few times, as if there was a hierarchy of sins and which sin would be more serious according to degree or frequency. Sin is sin in line with the Bible's stand, and also he mis-used the idea of "judge not lest you be judged". The context of the verse is about judging someone to condemn him of sin.

the guy asking the question said nothing wrong. it was all in line with scripture.Davis was just getting defensive. But the guy was emphasizing over and over that he is a sinner too. We all are. And the blood of Christ covers our sin but it is our duty, out of response of gratitude for the grace shown to us, to repent from those very sins that put Jesus on the cross. Ppl always assume its "judging" when someone stands up for truth like that. It's not. ITs Gods word. He said it.
