Outdoor Wood Boiler (OWB) Smoke from neighbor 3/8/11

This is the view of our neighbor's OWB from the front of our house. Even though we live on 11 acres, the unit is only about 400 feet from our house and blankets our entire front yard due to it being located close to our property line. It runs all day, all night and all year. We have forgotten what fresh air smells like and worry about what the long term health effects will be .....

This is an environmental crime as well as a blatant chemical attack.

And politicians worry about foreign terrorists launching a chemical attack. Looks like one of these terrorists lives right next door to you.

You have our sympathy. We are 400 feet from our neighbor's OWB, and we live on 2.5 acres. Proof that property size doesn't matter when the plumes of smoke and odor stretch for hundreds of yards. One minute in time may not look bad, but when the smoking NEVER STOPS, the stench accumulates like a smoldering cigarette in an ashtray, hour after hour, day after day. Your neighbor's right to burn ENDS where your nose BEGINS.
