@etfmartin glad you said electrical engineer and not English teacher, lol

if you shove one of the leads up your ass it acts as a Capacitor boosting the power up 10 fold. of course it could give you a stingy sphincter ...

This is stupid. I am electric engineer and I work in a power distribution company. There is no way to get "power from candles". This is so stupid that I was wandering even it is worth to comment. It is easy to make multimeter show 120 volts - can be some remote controlled device putted inside the meter, or inside the candles (what is little more difficult). In any case - good trick.

Ok, we did exactly what the video does. We tried it with a couple of types of wire, as you do not specify what wire to use except copper wire. Both of us have experience in electronics. We tried plain copper wire and we tried magnetic wire (which is what coils are typically made of). We used the leads, extension cord and all and magnetized the nails (using a paperclip to test the magnetism). IT DID NOT WORK So, unless we're doing something wrong, this is Green Power Bust!

The best thing to do is try it out yourself. We will and then we'll post our experience with it.
