Believe me, I own both an iPad and a PSVITA, and I used to heavily "game" on the iPad but ever since I bought the Vita, I released what true portable gaming means, the VITA has great graphics with games that cost millions to make !

On the other hand the iPad has "Apps" with a low budget of production + the OnScreen controls are just pathetic, playing an FPS on an iPad is not fun but rather annoying. Take my word, you are missing out on a lot, the iPad isn't really a "gaming device".

Rarely* do they end up being very good, besides there are countless of indie or downloadble only games on the Xbox, PS3 and on the PSVITA too, especially the Vita. There are a few of the games on the Vita and a lot coming soon.

And also the upcoming LBP will hold it's own little in-game Appstore where people can create long RPG's and even small Indie games all for free.

Indie games come out that have a smaller budget and indie games end up being some of the best games ever made! You don't need a millions of dollars to make a game!
