Why does everyone want to see him play Hendrix so bad. The only reason Hendrix was even good was the fucking acid he always had to be on to carry a tune. If he hadn't been on drugs his whole musical talent would never have been what it was. Petrucci is as I see one of the best guitarists of this time. @Hollywood2116 Without Hendrix Petrucci might not know what a guitar is. The Man created the electric guitar for popular music, being the one who popularised using the instrument as the lead soloist - most of the techniques and popular melodies still played these days are Hendrix's legacy.

Also, try doing acid and then playing the guitar. It doesn't really work that way, dude, so chill the fuck up. :D
