Credits and opening sequence from rare British film from 1983, filmed in Manchester, UK. The wine bar where Donovan gets into a fight is a real restaurant called the "ARMENIAN TAVERNA" , and is still there to this day. It is situated just past the junction with John Dalton street/Cross street, adjacent to the town hall, and still looks pretty much the same inside!

  • Had a video shop in the eighties, used to rent this out to people, loved waiting for their comments when they returned it,local gypsies used to come and rent it all the time!

  • @buldic You did? This must be that very same version, this is the original British video release, uploaded from my own copy of the tape!

  • I love this. Not seen it for years. Please put more on as my father has passed away who played Keller, the baddie

  • @celiaharris1 I'm very sorry to hear that. If you look through my uploads on my channel, you'll find several more chapters of "GBH" posted :)

  • Thanks so much. I wish I could get hold of that film. My Dad played Keller the baddie. He enjoyed doing that film so much with all his friends!

  • @celiaharris1 You can probably pick up a copy on e-bay, that's where I got it from.

  • @rfentem The club owner just says "What, eh..." Nothing more, pretty simple.

  • If you go to Filmthreat dott comm and put in the name Cliff Twemlow into their search engine, you can see my interview with the GBH star who played alongside him in GBH, Steve Powell.

  • Thanks so much for posting this, I live in America now and haven't seen it in years, one of my genuine all-time faves. I even interviewed a star of it. RIP Jerry Harris and Cliff Twemlow.

  • This is an absolute masterpiece of zero-budget cinema. I want- desperately- to see ALL of this man's films. They just don't make them like this anymore...

  • This looks really shite!

  • This film got me into hot water as a thirteen year old. Showed it to my parents. Not a good idea.

  • Nice cameo appearance from Anthony Schaeffer.

  • @buldic It's a very pikey film. Noiw fetches over £40 on ebay.

  • Thank you for saving this classic for posterity.

Haven't seen it since 1985. Mind you, I must have watched it half a dozen times a week back then.
