This sounds so familiar. I'm a student of political science, so I am confronted with these absurd discourses very often. Sometimes I sit in class and wonder how everyone else can keep a straight face while discussing them. For example we had one theory about how 'terrorism' is really a form of rebellion against the terrorist's parents. It has nothing to do with war or occupation or anything like that. And noone else laughed. Very strange experience.
