@timemastro No. Check the energy source - fuel. It is just more efficient than the actual grid, but energy tapping does not change a bit - hydrocarbons are still finite and biofuel cannot be produce beyond certain quantities. It rather might make the transition (from the actual abundant energy society to the less abundant energy society of the future) cleaner. Geothermal, solar, wind, hydrogen and some others will be extensively used, both at small and large scale.

You do hate the "rich Guys", but they provide the jobs . do you want them to take all that Money, knowledge and opportunity away. they can afford a permanent vacation, .. they can go anywhere and give their  money to those who appreciate the chance at a better life
