  • I like to have a little discomfort while meditating, it stops me from sleeping.

  • @tuina1 If it works for you, then ok. You may also find that concentration at the point between the eyebrows will keep you from dozing off while helping you go deeper. Not crossing the eyes, but just pointing them forward and a tiny bit upward as if you are looking at a mountain top far away.

  • I've been able to experiencing the twisting trunk of kundalini sitting how you showed. I've tried laying on my back, siting x cross apple sauce etc. Straight back lotus style is all that works for me. Could be a belief system.

  • free your mind a bit from the cushions.

  • you can lay down and meditate. This is just a form you can meditate in anyway as long as your comfortable.

    Namaste

  • I've tried those sittings, but that hurts a lot, my knees, my legs, my ankles...I really want to get that sitting without a cushion...what should I do?..are there exercises for that????
