thats cause theyre pumpin 11.1 volts into a motor that spins 7700 rpm per volt, thats like 85000 rpm. no motor is gonna hold up to that.

My point exactly, but there are some idiots who try to run 3 or 4s lipos on 6900 and 7700 kits and straight FRY the engine and ESC lol.

thats also true because theres way less power available on the 2s lipo, 3s lipo adds another 3.7V along with the same Mah, the 3s will pretty much be faster all the time.

It depends on what you want to get out of your electric RC...most people think the higher Kv's the faster their car will go, which isn't the case because the higher Kv's can't handle the power of big batteries. 3s lipo on a 5700kv set up is faster than 2s lipo on a 7700kv set up.

lipo wil wrek anyhting else because of it's discharge rate if u get a +40c discharge lipo you will get insane acceleration out of a 600w+ motor

I know. This video was put up in 2007. I went lipo shortly after making this vid, I also sold the truck shortly after to fund another project.
