Life is full of paradoxes. I'll give you one of these paradoxes now, because I find it rather amusing. Independent financial advisors. You see, these people are in actual fact dependent financial advisors, because they rely on you to make their money. They rely on you to get by. They rely on you for your money so they can make their money.
There's nothing really independent about them, but they would have you believe they are independent, because they want to give you the illusion that they know what's best for you. When in actual fact what's best of you is what's best for them, their pocket, and whichever financial instrument or product pays them the biggest commission. They're not interested in you. They just want your cash, the majority.
