  • Hard to believe that all those young pianists synchronoze so well, but it could be so with such a brilliant musician as Iturbi directing them. What an astonishing talent he had!

  • They don't make people like this anymore.

  • Just watched Jose on TCM in Anchor Aweigh, he was amazing. Wished I would have known about him when he did concerts back in the 70's.

  • so many pianos i wanna see a concert like this

  • This was the first classic music I heard and saw as a little girl and I was enthusiastic then as I am now. It has brought tears to my eyes. Of course I enjoyed the whole Anchors Aweigh.

  • It is wonderful to see these pieces by Jose Iturbi on YouTube! I remember my mother had a complete album of 78rpm's by Jose and Amparo Iturbi! I spent many joyful childhood hours listening to their beautiful music. I never played the piano, but my mother and sister were wonderful musicians, also! I am sooo pleased at the new interest in Jose Iturbi's music! Check out his website and biography!

  • I have always loved this film. Mr. Iturbi was just amazing.

  • Real talent right here around that era. Today its just copycaters lol

  • I loved the classical music in this picture.Frank Sinatra Sr. put me to sleep when he sang lullaby.MgM did ask Walt Disney to put Mickey Mouse in the picture. But, Mr. Walt said no.I bet you that he is sorry now.So, they couldn't get Mickey, they got Jerry. It is adorable. And I love Gene Kelly how he dances. A professional.
