Pilot is code for the very first introductory to a tv series.

@Selly412 I know this is probably irrelevant to you by now but a pilot episode is generally the first episode of a new show, shown to the heads of the studio to whom it is marketed, so its called 'Pilot' because one of the definitions of the word pilot is "one who guides or steers," as in the pilot episode is a guide as to what the show will look like.
