Zac Efron has a new leading lady - the introduction is coming up right now.

ClevverTV is back in action. Hello friends. I'm Joslyn Davis at the studio with 411 on Zac Efron's new leading lady.

Zac is set to star in the upcoming film adaptation of Nicholas Spark's novel "The Lucky One." In the book, Zac's character is a marine, who believes he's survived three tours of duty in Iraq thanks to a lucky photo he's carried of a woman he doesn't even know.

When he is finished with his service, Zac's character returns home in search of the beautiful women he believes helped him survive.

It makes sense that every young and promising actress in Hollywood wanted this role. Up and comer Taylor Schilling landed the role that other actresses like Katie Cassidy and Abbie Cornish were also in the running for. Schilling is fairly unknown, although you may recognize her from the short-lived medical drama "Mercy." So what do you guys think about this casting choice? Yeah, but the role is a woman that has been married and had a divorce and has a child. Not really a role for a young actress. She's supposed to look mature not because of her age but because of what she lived. I'm more upset Zac Efron is playing it, HE IS too young... the girl is not the problem IS HIM.

She IS only three years older than him. And the story is about older people. If you ask ME, they should find a leading guy that's a bit older. I she would definitely play this part great. You all should read the book before commenting, it's good.

Listen if he was too young or not good for the part they wouldnt have picked him, hes a good actor so just wait till the movie comes out to judge! Maybe he doesnt fit the character but who knows maybe they did some changes and Zac was perfect for it!
