This is a segment from TNN's (The Nashville Network) "Opry Backstage" show, filmed in 1998 just before my thirteenth birthday. Having won a Junior National Banjo Competition in Smithville, Tennessee, I contacted Mike Snider, and he was kind enough to invite me to perform on the Opry. This was a dream come true and will always be one of my most cherished memories. I hope you enjoy it!

:-D Charlie, I still remember being awe-struck when I first heard you play waayyy back in middle school! I even bought the cassette of your music that day. I remember seeing the photo from this performance inside the cover, but this is the first time I have been able to see it on video.
I sure do wish B100 would still play Mississippi Kid like they did back in those days!
