This is an introduction to Haiku, an open source operating system designed from the ground up for the desktop, inspired in the concepts and technologies of BeOS. The presentation will cover the concepts and features that make Haiku unique, as well as a hands on demo. actually I think the GUI is usable, it seems simple and I believe I would learn it fast enough. However I do have a problem with the "atmosphere" that haiku's look and feel create. I wouldn't want to use it for a long period of time. I would like something less cartoonish but still sober enough
