June 18, 2005. In the 18900 block of Meridian. I missed the best part being caught in construction traffic on Meridian. It took 20 minutes to get from 176 Street East and Meridian to the location. No injuries. A total loss of the structure, contents and vehicle. No injuries, but one of the occupants was taken to a hospital for anxiety issues related to the fire.
who exactly are you. You're a little close to every incident you're on. Are you a volunteer somewhere cuz you mention you saw a thermal column, so you must know something.

Exposures were a big part. This had a very good thermal column going while I was stuck for 20 minutes and 24 blocks away caught in road construction traffic. So I sat watching the 2nd alarm traffic pass me, and people freaking out not knowing what was going on down the road. The thermal column had the tornado spiral going and very black. It looked like one

I don't belive it went to two alarms. If it did they got turned around. How do I know? I was there.

Are you sure? :) Two district 6 trucks came east bound down 176th, then south on Meridian while I had the joy of sitting in the traffic. Another truck, maybe Puyallup Just came down Meridian. I have it noted in my video log as a two, and playback of the KIRO broadcast, they call it a two. If they were turned around, they wisely did not comeback down Meridian and have fun in the traffic! :)
