I got worms.

Anyway, this turned out to be a pretty fun game. I always wanted to play any of the games in the Worms series, but never really did over the years.
As you can see, my lack of experience shows, but man those enemy worms are skillful.
It's pretty fun, though. The music isn't anything to write home about, but the rest of it is fine -- worms, guns, grenades, killing... what more could you possibly need?!

  • HA! You need to sell it to me!

  • Haha, sorry :(

It's not that I don't like the game, it's just that I have too many games to play ;)

Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me that the programmers were just lazy and forgot to modify the start & option text.

  • When you hit OPTION, does it act as START?

Strange that they wouldn't change that before the final version.

  • I'll have to fire it up again and check.

I never paid attention to it, though honestly, this video was the first time I had played it.

  • Pretty sure this isn't for Jaguar, never seen a Jag controller with a START button...hmm.

    Says at the top, Select= & Start=

Although, it was released for Jag.

  • The Worms cartridge was in my Jaguar as I was playing and recording the video.

obviously they didn't. the jaguar version is far better than megadrive and snes versions. it has much more colors, sound effects & voices, explosions, animation, more levels, background music. looks very faithful to the pc version.

  • I love my Jag, and I love worms too (The game that is), but I have to honestly say that nearly 17 years later (Team 17's) PS3 version at 1080P ls a little easier to play. Note, I also played worms on my N64, and however strange this may sound, the Jag version for some reason seems clearer and more playable than the N64 version.

  • My copy of Worms for Jaguar just arrived £15 from ebay.

    Well chuffed.

I read one review on the internet where the graphics are supposedly exactly the same as the megadrive version and it seems to be a straight port: LMFAO did they ever even play the megadrive or even snes versions, LMAO .

  • @SauceCaptain just got it £15 on ebay

  • good luck ... the game was released after the jag was dead in limited numbers, so IF you can find a copy and that's a BIG IF expect to dish out some dough for it .....

  • I've noticed on my copy, the box says "Telegames", but the game pops up with "OCEAN" before the title. Is yours the same way? I've never seen the word Telegames anywhere in the game.

  • This is a really really great game! It would have been a bit better if you could save the team names... I always was angry about that (or do versions exist where you can save them?).

But one of the best Jaguar party games!
