The army of the Confederacy condemned boys before the cannons of Union soldiers. Let their memory be reviled for eternity.

If the Confederacy had won the war we would have a honest government that would operate in the peoples interests instead we got a criminal government run by a Leather Face Jew.

southern pride is nothing to be taken lightly
-
@kimrabb how much do you really cry over other peoples' traumas... be honest.
-
@Bushido91328 why no! everybody knows the union soldiers were just the picture of decorum and loved the slaves and were just there to free them! and to restore the union even though others kept trying to run away from them, lol

Trying to equate a flag which ceased to exist in 1865 with Jim Crow laws a hundred years later is just nonsensical. The flag under which the Jim Crow era briefly flousished was the Stars and Stripes. The battle flag of the CSA is revered today as a symbol of an outnumbered people who fought with incredible bravery against a ruthless and well supplied enemy. Let them celebrate their history in peace.

@03pn11 The draft didn't give them a choice. It wasn't something they embraced. There are literally thousands of stories of union soldiers raping, killing, and abusing freed slaves.
