Congressman Rob Bishop fights to preserve the Constellation progam

On the floor of the House of Representatives, Congressman Rob Bishop challenged the President's decision to cancel funding for the Constellation program and the Ares 1 and Ares 5 rockets. He stated that "The President is spending too much, taxing too much and spending in ALL the wrong areas."

For every $100 spent by the federal government, NASA gets 50 cents. During the peak funding years of the Apollo Moon program, NASA got $5 out of every $100. No bucks, no Buck Rogers, regardless of party affiliation.
