Rumi is the most well known and wonderful teachers of Sufism. His poetry is powerful and insightful. It won't let me post a link here, but if you Google him you'll find millions of references.

I really enjoyed "Essential Sufism" by Huston Smith. It's basically a collection of proverbs, quotes and stories in relation to Sufi beliefs. Very good read. My copy is dog eared and highlighted to a point where it's almost un-readable.

You can tackle a religion that is true but Islam is a way of live, an identity and 1.5 miljard people al over the world and groving. You can do whatever you want but you can not tackle Islam.

This is youre opinion everybody has his opinion. I don't concidere it an opinion but a fact that Islam is the one and onely true religion. Someone else can have a difrent opinion. But there is more agression in the Bible than in The Koran but we are conciderd agressief because we fight for our rights and against the opressor of the world Amerika.

there are many problems on our planet, i am not limiting myself to religion, but if you compare and analyze the problems, you will see that religion is easier to solve than most of the other problems. if you had 80% non-religious people in america, less people that are faithful, it will also be easier to deal with the other stuff.

Jainism is also totally pacifistic. Ghandi based much of his philosophy of non-violence on its tenets.
