"Rei" Piano Suite (Part 2 of 2):"Rei II"---from the anime Evangelion/NGE

Welcome to the 3rd installment of my "Summer Concert Series 2011"!!! This song is called "Rei II," from the Neon Genesis Evangelion (NGE) tv series. Please also check out my performance of "Rei I"---the link will be embedded at the beginning and end of this video!

This past month, I finished watching through the NGE tv series for the first time, and it has become one of my favorite anime series! I highly recommend it to anime fans who haven't checked it out yet. I also recommend checking out the recent Evangelion 1.11 and 2.22 films, which are part of a modern re-telling of the series with a less moody Hideaki Anno (creator of Evangelion)....however, to enjoy these movies at their fullest (and to understand the notorious amount of details in Eva), it would be best to watch the original tv series first.
