A basic tutorial teaching you how to capture sprites from emulators using the correct native size for the games. This is basic common knowledge, and a part of sprite ripping 101 for when you plan to start your ripping adventures.

  • It's actually "capturing." Ripping is taking directly from the game data.

  • Instead of using the AnimGet, you could Pause VBA (File>Pause or Ctrl+P) then step through with Next Frame (Tools>Next Frame, or Ctrl+N) to prevent/control animation on screen
