  • the sax player did a pretty nice job on the solo, a little dragging and seemed forced however, i had to drill the solo this year also, even though we never ended up playing it. if she just practiced a bit more and tried to get it a smother tongue in it it would sound great, i aimed for an effortless sound. and i even suggest improving the last few licks. LOVE THE TROMBONE at the end, and the clarinet did a nice job, its a hard part, but it was perty nice

    very talented trombone player. we pulled this out in jazz band a couple weeks ago, and it's good to hear other's interpretations as well as our own.
