Part one of hour-long video documenting wildlife and travel experience at Lewa Wildlife Reserve and later, Samburu National Park in Kenya. If you're in a meditative mood, this grows on you, with some surprising moments. No bells and whistles, just nature in action: beautiful, funny, majestic. Last Africa trip of noted conservationist Barbara Curtis Horton, at age 85.

  • beautiful film and so nice without music!! :-)

  • Despite the little shaky camera, the over-all footage on the animals & landscape was just beautiful. The last minute with those three young elephants --- with the really agressive baby boy going after the much bigger girl/babysitter, who's shielding the less agressive baby [it looked to be a girl] from the rough-playing baby boy --- was just exquisite. All creatures, esp. the young, need to be able to do: just having fun next to their protective families. Thank you for the footage.
