Shop Til You Drop: 2003

A show that saw much success throughout the 1990s, STYD underwent a total makeover in 2003. Gone were the mall set and wacky stunts, replaced with a warehouse club and minigames that required far less skill. In addition, the show was CRAMMED with shameless plugs...you'd get more product plugs in the first 5 minutes than you do in all the commercial breaks!

Here's a general episode from that era...one that will make you want to eat some Honey Nut Cheerios in Lipton Tea while using Lamisil.

This version of Shop Til You Drop was real lame. I liked the mall better. It would be nice if somebody could upload more of those episodes or they would air them on GSN.

But what about the hand-off part? If I recall, on the original, the shopper didn't have the hand off the prizes to the runner.

i can only see one good thing about this version and that's the switching during the end game so everybody is doing their fair share of running
