Many times, I've let parts of my heart die: hope in love, ties with family, my passion for God, faith, going to church.

I told myself, I'd come back to Him, when I was done having fun-that, i'd take a break to search for truth." Problem is, i forgot to 'search'; part of me died.

It makes me think of the song "Word of God Speak". The second verse begins "I'm finding myself in the midst of you, beyond the music, beyond the noise". Even though worship music/Christian music is as close as we sometimes feel we can get to God, in reality he is so much more awe-inspiring and wonderful, he is so much more real.

@fjrocks367@tootie5011 I think there's a difference between an "idol" and a music artist that you love. Personally, 10th Ave helps me get closer to God, just by giving my crazy mind something to focus on. When I listen to worship music, I make sure to simply use it as a channel for my worship. Sometimes I turn it on really quiet in the background and get my Bible and let God guide me and just worship, or sometimes I blast it out blast it out loud and jump and dance. The key is /worship/.

Thank god for tenth avenue north. I THink I wouldn't have the strenght to go on with out them. I could be listening to Mac Miller or Lil Wayne right now but instead I'm here. Getting closer and closer to my lord. If they ever come to my city, I'll take who ever the heck I'm dating or just go by myself. I think this is the best god send to me and to all christian music lovers alike. God bless them and god bless you.
