peoples of old designed microprocessors but couldn't develop refrigeration, telephones or air conditioning?

One of my theories is that the leaders of towns like the kings or queens found a way to hide all of the evidence from use and found a way to re invent stuff like electricity and make money out of it and b able to dominate the world like many rich people do now.

i dont know if they were smarter den us because if they were then they wouldve found many ways to shows us they did. they wouldve left so much evidence that it wouldve made it ez for use what i think is that someone did help them, maybe aliens which they see as gods that come from the sky.
