    we only get unleaded fuel up here. fuel is more then a dollar more now though .

  • Been there years ago at -60F in January, sat a suit case down for a short while outside, picked it up and the plastic handle shattered to pieces in my hand. Remember too driving in the rental car and tires going "thump thump thump" until they warmed up a bit. Anchorage gets cold spells now and then, down to -25F once in a while, but nothing like frigid Fairbanks and the other interior cities.

  • hmmm and I thought anything below +10 degrees celcius was unbearably cold
