@Mohanchous The song was so pretty and well sung that I thought it was probably a single by some famous artist. Then the commercial said something like "Janie died on a rainy night because a lonely man was driving drunk &c." I thought Janie was someone well known performer. Sadly, it seems that neither Janie nor her song were ever famous. Nevertheless, I would have to say that this is the most touching PSA I have ever seen, and I'm sad it's lost.

I want to see my kids have kids
I want to see them free
I want to live the most of life
I want the most of me
I want to dance, I want to love, I want to be...
... and I want to see Venice.

@sweettrt If you find it, let me know, okay? And I'll do the same. Thanks!

@HooseBinPharteen I haven't found it yet, but I am still looking, between us we are the only two people on the face of the earth that know all the lyrics to that tragic Public service announcement! I was so ready to find it today! good luck on your search!

@sweettrt I've been looking for that very same one for a long while now. If you find it, can you message me and let me know where it is? Thanks! :)
I mostly remember the first lines:
"I want to watch the sun come up another 50 years
I want to write a novel that will bring the world to tears
And I want to see Venice..."
That first verse stole my heart and wrang it out like a wet wash cloth... :(

I believe the actor is Sid Raymond, character actor and the voice of Baby Huey!
Did you ever find the I Want to See Venice PSA? In the '70s I worked for a local TV station and at times ran movies that had to be cut or padded to finish exactly on the hour. I always tried to time it out so that I would have :20 seconds to fill at the end of the movie. That way I could run the Jenny PSA. I'd sure like to download a copy.
