I like Ben tremendously. He is my favourite 'Turk' over even Cenk. That said, he does break in to other people's train of thought pretty much 100% of the time and it can be incredibly annoying. Nonetheless I really wish Christy had not exploded - despite being totally justified in her annoyance. A few quiet words behind the scenes were needed, not an on-camera outburst which does nothing but paint her in a bad light.

Alonso though... Wow... Pretentious does not begin to cover it.

Did you even see The Hurt Locker?

She deserved that win. She makes real movies, not "shock value" fiction or "dances with wolves with space smurfs" movies that rely on special effects and gimmicks.

Moonrise kingdom should have been nominated for best picture and should have won, it's bullshit it didn't.

The chance exists, but is really negligible... Of all the films that don't have a Director nod, its the most likely to win... I hope it does, and maybe the Oscars will wake up on seeing how its winning at almost every other awards show, we'll have to wait and see!
