Part 2 of Great Men in UK Period Drama. (Now with a few women)
This is the 2nd video in the series. I hope to do two more at least.

The music is excerpts from Clint Mansell's "Requiem of a Dream". "Requiem for a Dream Overture" and "Summer Overature".


With a lot of the best Period Drama already being covered in Part 1, I took the opportunity to include some mini-trailers in this Part 2 vid. A lot of great Period Drama, that never goes out of date, is in this vid, with more to come in the future, I hope.

I've been meaning to thank you, Genie, for your most excellent and very tastefully created videos. i enjoy this one in particular since you showed one after the other, three of my favorite actors: Liam Cunningham (shown here in Falling For A Dancer), Stephen Dillane ( in Firelight), and Paul McGann (in The Hanging Gale). My favorite is Paul McGann who is absolutely beautiful shown here at 1:05-1:09. (My favorite of his films is Our Mutual Friend.) But, I love all your men.

well, i could recommend a good few but im not sure whether or not youve seen all of them or not coz most of them are shown in these video clips. But two of the best period dramas ive seen are "North and South" which stars a gorgous looking richard armitage and the 1995 mini series of "Pride and Prejudice" which stars another gorgous looking man, Colin Firth! the best and only Mr Dracy in my opinion....hope you like them.

@gsbohn shown at frame 1:46 (as Merlin); i missed that one- second shot. several months ago i had posted a comment that dark make-up and beard can little hide Stephen Dillane's handsomeness. this same consideration applies for Liam Cunningham. as for Paul McGann, i think he fascinates/excites more so with a mustache.
