Wow, how timely. I just ordered one of these harnesses, and happened to find your video. Great information. I've been working with my 3 1/2 month old puppy with walking at my sides both in the house and out in our yard without a leash since we can't go anywhere else until she gets her last puppy shot. She targets my hand and does really well.  I put off getting a harness due to her growing and the expense of getting several harnesses. This video will really help! Thanks so much.

@azmauigirl I am glad you enjoyed my video! The GL Easy Walk Harness is the only tool I recommend for all owners without hesitation. Targeting is for teaching loose lead. Can I suggest you let your pup drag the lead when working on the loose lead walk? Even if it's in the home or in the garden - dragging the leash sometimes helps as some pups are sensitive to pressure around the neck (even if just to contain them). Practicing off leash is brilliant too! As a dog off lead can do it on too. :)

@harrvey thanks for your inquiry! that's a very good question! If you have purchased the correct harness size and have adjusted the straps correctly so that the martingale action is high up on the chest, the dog will not be choked. In order to make sure the harness fits properly make sure the top strap on the back is shorter than the contrasting strap that runs along the belly, bringing the chest strap higher up on the dog. Harnesses that are poorly fitted can cause the dog to step out. :)
