I don't want someone average in the white house. I'm average and I can tell you right now I am in no way qualified to lead the country. I want someone smarter and more cleverer than me with much more experience.

WonderfulSarah, I'm from the UK and I think the overwhelming majority here think she comes across as very unintelligent. I can't say whether she's an average American but I can say that she would be regarded as a below-average Brit over here.
The White House is no place for 'average Americans'. We all want the best of the best in there.

Palin comes across as an average American, with sincere values, who is not an actress and is being careful while dealing with a powerful liberal who is skillfully trying to portray her as inept.
