Regretfully true. The only language the communists understood was strength. As it turned out, supplying the USSR free of charge in WW2 was a major political error - no matter how sensible it appears to a western mentality.

@Id3ntity29 you should check that when this incident happened the t55 significantly outclassed the m60 in armor, in fact this crisis brought as a consequence a redesign of the m60. Later the m60 could stand against the t55, but in 1961 it didnt have a chance
