Welles was brilliant and far from ignorant, but to say someone else "meant" anything is crazy.

So by the rule of double negatives, you are a socialist.

Orson Welles makes a few wrong statements in this documentary imo. He crearly points out the nationalist sight when he claims "basques are not spanish nor french" And "nations expand borders while people prefer to avoid them".
Both are wrong and contradictory. He's talking about something he knows very little about, basque people, nationalism and the history of nations in europe.
