British Museum comments that the marbles belong to them. How low can they go because they dont have anything BRITISH to display! Have some dignity gentlemen and return them. Since when can you buy something that is so valuable , you can not put a price on it. Let alone that they were bought from a lowlife thief that wanted to decorate his villa. I honestly hope Phaedias who sculptured them, puts a curse on all you from wherever he is.

Go read some history YOU PATHETIC people and then express your opinion. PARTHENON MARBLES were taken when Greece was under Turkish custody. And they need to come back where they belong.

Have the Greeks who have posted here seen the appalling state of the marbles which were not removed? You need to look at how you've cared for 'your' history!

The reason why the British dont give the marbles back to Greece is because that will no longer have interestng things to show if they do it. And if they give back ANY thing they have stolen to their original owners there will remain nothing at all in their museum to show.... just their pathetic stonehenge

Maybe in the past the Greeks, didn't look after them properly, either due to lack of funds or bec of the unforgiving Athens pollution. But their case for return is besides that point! Don't be sort sited.
