Authorities: 2 Killed in SC Small Plane Crash

South Carolina authorities say at least two people have died when their a single-engine plane crashed into a lake in the northwestern part of the state. (Sept. 19)

You would thing large airliners never go down killing hundreds of people in them and on the ground by reading some of these posts. I have hundreds of flight hours in small plane and it's not as bad as trying to drive in traffic.

If this scares you, I would definitely recommend not investigating the supremely infinite ways that mankind finds to kill themselves. Flying just happens to be one of them - after a poor decision or two. It's amazing how sheltered people are. Look at how many people are hit by cars, get cancer, fall off ladders, electrocute themselves, starve, overeat, smoke, etc... and die from it. Death can be right around the corner for any of us at any moment. Being scared won't help - so lighten up a bit.
