How to subtract fractions. This is a test demo. I hope it works! The sound is not perfect, and sounds like water dripping. But I have since learned to correct this. Again, this is just a demo. Stay tuned for more video mathcasts!

  • The whole number was subtracted. I took 2 2/3 and changed it to an improper fraction of 8/3.

  • No its not. You had a mixed number like 2 2/3 You forgot to subtract the WHOLE NUMBER.

  • people tend too do these types of fraction problems do them in differnt ways sum make it simple sum make it complicated theres tons of ways too do problems like these
