easy way to download you tube videos

Two easy steps to download video from YouTube and many other web sites. Convert, store and playback video on your computer or other playback devices.

Step #1 Download the software from a website named; http://youtubedownload.altervista.org.
It's fast, safe and free.
An icon will appear on your desktop called youtube downloader.

Step #2 Go to www.youtube.com and select the video you would like to dwownload. Double click the youtube downloader icon on your desktop. A box will appear.

Type or (copy and paste) the url for that video into the box and click the download botton.

After the video downloads to your computer there is a second button in the box that allows you to convert the video for storage and playback in windows media player, ipod, mp3 player, etc.

This is a fast and easy way to capture and playback videos from YouTube and about fifty other video websites. No "flv" player is nessesary. Once you convert the video to playback in the sorce of your choice; you are good to go.

i am having a problem converting. once i download the video i click the other box to convert, and it says not found. And i downloaded it. Help

before you convert; you must choose the video from where its stored on your computer.; The downloader box has a dropdown for selection of the video. When you click on to it from the dropdown., you are ready to convert. I have designated my documents as my storage area. Hope this makes sense. Sorry it took so long to reply.

If you have had this youtube downloader for a while like me, an update is available for it to work properly. If this is your first time installing this downloader , no problem, you will get the updaded version. Pay close attention to the FAQ info on the left side of the screen on the download page.
